Gamma Omicron Continues to Push Brotherhood and Success

On October 29th, the active men of Gamma Omicron focused on team building by organizing a paintball event along with the help of their Corporation Board. The following morning the chapter was able to initiate a pledge class of 25 new initiates.

Along with focusing on the cohesiveness of the chapter, Gamma Omicron hosted a Hall of Fame Dinner whom recognized scholars in the house as well as Hall of Fame inductees Robert Sauder ’48 and Lieutenant Colonel Max Schooley ’60. The house awarded over 10 scholarship checks that earned above a 3.31 in the spring semester, with three of those belonging to 4.0 recipients. The chapter exemplified in service by participating in a joint philanthropy event with the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega. Both houses wrote Christmas cards and donated items to The Willow, a women’s shelter against domestic violence. The house had over 200 participants and was the monetary value of donations rounded to roughly $1300.
